Fab Find Alert: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Launches on Sunday, September 15!

Score Fall Essentials for Day and Night at 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

The wait for the highly anticipated 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection is finally over! The 100+ piece line—including the “BOOM!” graphic sweatshirt ($29.99) that’s had an early cameo in several September fashion magazines—hits stores and the web on Sunday, September 15, and we can’t wait to update our fall wardrobes with the wearable, everyday contemporary pieces in neutral colors. Seriously, the pieces are uh-mazing with plenty of that leather detailing we’ve been craving as of late.

It’s a partnership that’s a long time coming—Target first asked the three-time CFDA award winner to collaborate five years ago, but he repeatedly declined, choosing to focus on growing his designer line. But it’s definitely worth the wait. The collection features apparel meant for on-the-go men and women ($19.99 to $299.99) and accessories ($19.99 to $59.99) separated into morning, noon and night looks.

The clothing doesn’t scream diffusion line, either. Lim revisited his archives and reinvented some chic pieces from his near-decade of past collections and included everything from underwear to outerwear (like this gorge navy leather moto jacket for $249.99), a navy tuxedo blazer with black detailing ($59.99), and several party-ready dresses, along with plenty of structured bags (ranging from small wristlets to backpacks) and shoes. Set your alarms, this is definitely a collection to wake up early for. —CASSIE KREITNER
