Get Pretty and Pampered in a New York Minute at The Red Door

The Red Door Offers Quick and Full-Service Treatments in Union Square

Is the holiday season wreaking havoc on your already overbooked iCal? Well, no need to let your beauty routine fall to the wayside. Thanks to The Red Door, Elizabeth Arden’s new spa, salon and beauty boutique in the heart of Union Square, you can get coiffed, polished, touched up and massaged in less than 30 minutes per treatment. Talk about using your time wisely.

The new two-story space offers SpeedUpStairs at street-level, where you can book speed services in the cleverly named “Mani-hattan” nail salon ($15-$40), “The Flat Ironed” blow dry bar ($40), “New York Waxi Service” ($26-$85), Beauty Bar for quick pick-me-ups and makeup applications ($25-$95), or expedited facial treatments ($80-$125). Many of these services can be done simultaneously if you’re really in a time-crunch.

Have more than a lunch hour to spare? Book a full service facial, peel, massage or body treatment in CalmDOWNStairs, a traditional salon and spa located in The Red Door’s basement, designed like an ultra-chic townhouse.  It’s complete with 12 single-occupancy treatment rooms, 2 couples’ rooms, eight haircut and color stations, and eight mani-pedi chairs (complete with privacy curtains if you need some alone time). The space also has a full locker room with showers and changing areas, and offers complimentary makeup touchups after facial treatments so you can leave looking polished. Needless to say, whether you’re here for twenty minutes or two hours, you’ll be ready to conquer the town with your prettiest face forward.  —CASSIE KREITNER
