Paper Magazine’s Super (Duper) Market Comes To The MPDPaper Magazine Launches A Pop-Up Grocery Store With Target and American Express
S’Mores, sno-balls, and macaroons, oh my! Those are just some of the gourmet goodies you can sample at this weekend’s Super (Duper) Market, a food-centric pop-up shop sponsored by Paper Magazine, American Express, and Target.
The three-day super-store—it’s open from Friday to Sunday—is packed with artisanal foods from both East and West Coast foodies. Sample NYC specialties from the likes of Mile End Delicatessen, Red Rooster (get the corn bread!), and Sour Puss Pickles (to name a few), or get a taste of Cali at Tartine Bakery and Miette. Don’t forget to say hi to Norma Kamali: The designer will be on hand selling her own brand of olive oil, popcorn, and organic juice. You may also spot Hotelier Andre Balazs doling out his Locust Farm organic eggs.
You can eat your way through from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, or on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If only our local grocery was this much fun…—AMANDA LIBBYSuper(Duper)Market|410 West 16th Street
