Sandro is by no means a new brand. In fact, husband and wife team Didier and Evelyne Chetrite launched the label back in 1984. But the French based line finally has a new home in NYC—it officially opened a West Village store November 22nd after launching in Bloomingdales this September—and we can honestly say it was worth the wait. The Bleecker Street shop is packed with the brand’s elegantly offbeat aesthetic in an appropriately sleek and modern space peppered with vintage steel rails, veneer wooden tables stocked with accessories, stark white walls, and blond wood floors.
The shop boasts separate boutiques for men and women, adjoined by a center common room. Inside, you’ll find everything from practical leather clutches ($250) and belts (starting at $82), to printed blouses, leather jackets, and refreshingly unique party dresses (our favorite boasts a leather bow at the waist for $262). For men, we spotted plenty of knit tees ($110), button downs, suits, and jackets. You can browse the looks on the brand’s recently launched e-commerce site, but we recommend checking out the new digs in person. (Sure beats booking a flight to Paris!) Before you shop, checkout our top 5 favorite looks below. (Although it was hard to narrow down!) —AMANDA LIBBY
